This week we’ve seen the end of historically bearish March, and we’ve also had a number of important developments here at NewsCrypto: we released the NewsCrypto app v2.0, announced that we’re working on our DeFi protocol and took further steps with our community-building efforts.

We had been working on the v2.0 upgrade of our app for some time, so we’re proud that it’s finally been released!

The user interface has been completely redesigned and smoothed out with a focus on customizability, and we’ve also added a number of new features.

The most important ones to mention are the smart alerts, which help you optimize the way you track the market without needing to spend too much time staring at charts. Whether you’re waiting for the price to dip to a certain level, cross an MA, for a token to be listed on a new exchange, or even for Ethereum gas fees to drop, our alerts have got you covered!

As for DeFi, we’ve announced that we’ve been working on implementing our own DeFi lending and borrowing protocol.

More details (along with the exact release date) are coming soon, but for now suffice it to say that we’re working on the most user-centric protocol possible, which will give all NWC holders the opportunity to take control of their finances in a decentralized way.

And if you’re worried about fees, you can set your mind at rest since we’re building it on the Binance Smart Chain, which means that all fees will be merely a fraction of a dollar!

Our community has now been expanded with a French-language Telegram channel and group and a Chinese-language Weibo and Wechat. We’re glad that our content is becoming more and more accessible in all corners of the world, and we look forward to taking that even further. One development that certainly helped in this regard is the AMA that was held on Wednesday in partnership with KuCoin, and which was attended by 100k people.

Regarding our regular posts, this week’s Market Price Report covered the Stacks token (STX), while the FA Report was about Uniswap’s V3 upgrade. In our Weekly Report, Blockchain Wayne covered more recent news on institutional interest in crypto, while the How-to Crypto post was about the basics of DeFi.
